Location



   The meeting will take place in Jičín, a historical town in northeast Bohemia, and gateway to the Bohemian Paradise UNESCO Global Geopark. Jičín is situated in a picturesque landscape crowned with erosional remnants of Miocene monogenetic volcanoes. The volcanic heritage of the Bohemian Paradise and also other nearby volcanic areas.

   The venue of the conference itself (presentations) will be held in the cinema Český ráj (Biograf Český ráj in Czech) in the Jičín town (Mapy.cz here / Google Maps here).

   Accommodation and transport from the venue is not arranged by organisers. Participants may arrive directly to Jičín town or may start pre-conference field-trip in Prague (bus will be privided) otherwise it is necessary for the participant to arrange transportation to and from the venue on his/her own.
